GTI MK8.5 Multiple Scatches on Windscreen

Just discovered recently some scratches all over my windscreen. Not sure what to think but I cannot recall this happening at all. Looks in the shape of the windscreen wiper with the curve and it has been seriously raining the past week.

What do you guys reckon? It's a weird one

Mmm, a weird one for sure, but looks like it was caused by grit (or something) dragged by the windscreen wiper. Is it a scratch you can feel with your finger nail? If more of a superficial 'surface mark' it might be removed by a good glass polish, such as the Autoglym one.
