Introducing me and my CS40
« on: 21 October 2024, 09:49 »
Morning all,

Just picked up a Mk7 ClubSport 40 - no.605 - White / 5Dr / DSG / DCC / Buckets

Not my first GTI but its been a while, so no doubt I'll have lots of questions.. starting with,
How much of a PITA is it that the buttons for DCC / Stop Start are on the passenger side in a RHD car?

Welcome nurburgsingh! Great username!

Lovely looking Ed40 you have there.
I had a white 5 door too.

I never had an issue with the LHD optimised buttons myself, probably because mine was a manual with no DCC! (I didn’t ever bother turning off the stop start with a manual)

Looks cool. The position of the buttons never bothers me by stop/start does - part of my start up ritual is to turn the damned thing off.
