White always looks good on a Golf GTI, easy to look after and contrasts well with the black and red bits.
Whether you liked Moonstone or not I guess it would have been a bit much having two in the family.
There’s a Moonstone R-Line just around the corner from me (24 plate) and I really like it, and a yellow 24 plate e-TSI just up the road from them which I also really like as it catches your eye as soon as you round the corner!
A very determined effort keeping both cars, it would be great to read a side by side review when the new car arrives.
No foreseeable plans for me to swap cars Jon, I’m happy enough with what I’ve got. It does literally everything, looks ok, costs little to own but would lose a fortune in early depreciation if I got shot. Nothing out there really floats my boat.
I did have a quick nose at a freshly launched MINI Cooper S Sport F66 as the dealership is just around the corner from my dentist. I’d quite fancy one of those for its fun factor and looks, but a new GTI would be almost as cost effective with current discounts and can swallow people much more easily. I had four passengers including a six month pregnant lady plus myself in the car recently and the car was spacious enough.
