Mostly!

Tends to be fairly quiet in these sections. So what exactly have you bought? A few pictures never hurts too.

If it's a GTI, I had a Racingline elbow and inlet pipe fitted and it made a wee bit of difference but I wouldn't say they are particularly good value for money. Mine was a manual and a better mod was to fit an Audi short shift, that made a great improvement.
2019 Oryx White 5dr TCR.

Was - 2015 Tornado Red 3dr GTI PP, manual, Santiagos, Audi short shifter.

@watts hey buddy, it’s a Gti in dark grey haven’t got any pictures as yet having revo stage 1 installed and picking it up at the weekend looking forward to it as I’ve been driving a Tiguan tdi for the past 5 years

Mine too is a manual so definitely interested in doing a short shift mod

Mine too is a manual so definitely interested in doing a short shift mod

I got the Audi part from a main dealer, was only around £50ish and was straightforward to fit, well worth it. I also fitted a clutch pedal bump stop, removes some of the excessive movement of the pedal plus I removed the assistor spring from the pedal. That improves the feel but once the spring is off, it's a real faff and very unlikely to be able to be refitted!

You can see the part number below of the Audi part:

And below you can see the different position of the pivot:

Welcome SuperScaff   (Ok, I’m a bit late with the welcome 😁)

We’re a pretty friendly bunch but, as Watts says, this area of the forum tends to be a bit short of visitors.
In fact things seem to be quiet here lately but I guess that’s because regular members don’t have too much to report and you can only write about the same old stuff so many times, and new members aren’t asking enough questions to shake everyone awake a bit more. There’s a wealth of knowledge on here but be patient, it’s not social media quick around here and many of us are too old to care about said online media. Golfs obviously aren’t setting the world alight at the moment and modding seems to be something less people bother with now. I’ve gone from a serial modder to “can’t be arsed” over the years. Thats what nearly 40 years of the things does to you I guess.

Hey buddy hope all is well ,

Certainly does seem like a great forum No doubt I’ll be asking more questions in good time, I’ve only had Just over a week so far and haven’t got around to fiddling yet , I do have a turbo elbow and hose sat here ready to fit hopefully will complement the Revo stage 1 that’s on the car

Also I’d like a touch more exhaust sound maybe a res delete will achieve that
