In general are Ps5 a good all rounder? About to order just need final push. PS4s are €15 a corner more expensive are they worth it ?

I’ve had a set of PS5’s on for a couple of years, no issues to report.

Upgraded from the P Zero to a set of 19” PS4S’ a couple of weeks ago. Costco offered a discount so it worked out to about £135 per tyre incl. fitting. Happy to report a noticeable improvement in comfort and road noise at low speeds. At higher speeds, they grip SO much better and steering feels more ‘connected’ when flying down a windy B-road. The car really does feel better with these tyres and I’m happy with the purchase. Only downside I’ve noticed so far is that tramlining is far more pronounced. Will report back once I’ve spent some more time with the new boots.

That being said, I doubt that these tyres offer better value for money than the PS5. Stock power doesn’t seem to be enough to push the tyre to its full potential (or maybe I’m just slow 😂). People with stage 2+ might see more benefits running this tyre.

I've had PS5 tyres fitted for just over 6 months now and have seen a big difference compared with the original Pirelli's. The biggest difference being road noise is much less. Would get the same again.

I've run ps4, 4s and now 5. 4s are now out in 225/40/18 so will so with them next time. They've more grip and are slightly stiffer than the 5 but the 5's are excellent, I'm not disappointed at all with them

Ditto when I swapped over from the original Bridgestone Potenza’s to the PS5’s. Before the swap it sounded like a Chinook was flying behind me.

Had a set of Hankook Ventus S3 Evos on the 8 when it arrived, 18 months later they were heavily perished on 3 of the 4 tyres. Plenty of use, so no reason it should have happened. Put PS5s on there, since they were £20 a corner cheaper than the 4S, and it’s night and day difference. Loads more grip, better cold and wet performance, and about 2MPG better economy.
