My 2018 Golf GTI

I bought my GTI in January of this year. The only VW's I've owned have been transporters and I've had my t5.1 coming up to 6 years.

I hadn't had a car since last July when I sold my 2005 Cooper S.  A GTI wasn't on the list, however, it came up used approved with 2 years warranty and in a garage 15 miles away. Test drove it and loved it!

Day I picked it up -




I've done a 1000 or so miles in it over the last few weeks and don't regret my decision to buy it. So far, I've added a panel filter and maxton spoiler lip. I'd like a remap, however, it's a manual car so will be saving for a clutch.

Before you go down the route of a remap, consider a pedalbox. I love mine, it makes the car really responsive and feels like you've dumped 100kgs. Not everyone likes them but I'd say it's well worth trying first.

Had a custom backbox made up last week. It still has the centre silencer.  Unsure whether to get it removed.  It's louder than standard but  I think it's a bit quiet for me.

Hey buddy, awesome car, what spoiler did you add, I'm keen to get one myself but not sure how it will look, any closer pics would be ideal if you can. Also where did you get the alloys with the red trim!!! They are immense.
I've currently got mk8.5 GTi white. Had the spoiler and wing mirrors wrapped gloss black but really want the spoiler to look a little more aggressive...  But not sure how to go about itSorry so many questions

Hi.  It's a Maxton lip spoiler for the 7.5.  I imagine they probably do similar for the 8.5.

The wheels are standard VW wheels aswell.  They're 18" Sevilla.

Found the name of the wheels but cannot for the life of me find where to purchase them from CMwheels have a set but have been out of stock for a long long time!!
