Squeeking Noise, Too

i also have a squeecky noise coming from the front of the car, everytime i lift off at low speeds mite happen at high speeds just cant hear it,

could it be an engine mount? dont think its suspension cos going over speed bumps is fine

i had A squelching noise on my mk1 and it was the cv joint boot rubbing.

thats what mine is doing but its just how to stop it i am bothered about! is ur car lowered as this might effect it?, mine is rubbing (i think) against the anti roll bar!

i've got the same problem after changing all the engine mounts i narrowed it down to the down pipe joints flexing to much on the exhaust as you pull away.
 get under the car and shake the front pipe around (when cold) you should hear it squeeking just under the manifold. :sad:
