Does anyone know if you can clear the balance owed on a service plan? Using my 2nd credit and don't qualify for the all-in-service plan due to exhaust modification, and my current isn't set to finish until March.

Not a big issue, but would rather start a new one after it's service and you can't have two active at the same time on one car bizarrely.

Yes you can, just call VW finance, number is on your statement, and they are fine for you paying it off in one go.

I got the 2 year warranty for my 2019 GTI PP which is finishing soon on the 10th October 2024.  I took out the service pack after about 9 month of owning the car at £21/month and had a major service with a minor due next month.  I have checked the all in one service https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/owners-and-services/servicing-and-parts/service-plans/all-in.html and its now £37.50/month which over two years that's £900, which is a lot of money, which I know will cover a major and minor service, plus MOTs, and breakdown cover.  Apart from a noise when the car is on full lock, which I will get check out when I get the car serviced, I haven't had an issue with it, do people still think the all in one is a good deal?

Personally I think the All On is decent value.  I’m a cautious goat, like to have a warranty in place when owning a car that can give large bills if a DSG Box or EA888 engine starts to misbehave. As long as you’re ok with your local VW Service facility ofcourse.

Warranty + Services + MOTs + Breakdown for £37.50 per month…..
Why does £1.24 per day sound better?

I’m now on on my second All-In plan. Got the first at £25 per month and current at £30 so happy chappy.  I’d still get it at £37,50, but I suppose it’s how you are with risk taking😬

Gone. Mk6 GTI DSG, 2012 ,5dr , DPB, 18’s, Leather, Dynaudio, Cruise, DAB, Auto Mirrors, Storage Pack, TPMS.
Current. Mk7.5 R DSG, 2019, 5dr, DPB,  Pretorias, Leather, Memory Seat,  Climate Screen, Rear Camera, Black Caps

I come to the end of my All In Plan next March when car reached 6th anniversary. I plan to keep the car for at least 2 further years and wonder if VWs pricing increases as the car gets older and possibly more likely to incur breakdown and warranty costs. Anyone got experience of pricing vs age or indeed mileage?

Under the All In product, vehicle age and mileage are two of the eligibility criteria (see below). However, isn’t the price for the All In product the same for all vehicles, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for cover?

All-in has been designed for vehicles that:
- Are between 3 and 6 years old at point of activation
- Are a Volkswagen with an engine size of 2.0L or less
- Have done under 100,000 miles at point of activation
- Don’t have a service plan already in place

However, under VW’s stand alone Extended Warranty product I would be surprised if age and mileage aren’t factors that influence the price charged.

It's still full price at the moment, no offers as yet.

I've had £3K of warranty work done under the All-In plan so it has more than paid for itself. Even if I hadn't had the work done, for the £30/month I paid it was still great value.

Unfortunately I've only got a couple of months left on it and I can't renew because my car is now over 6 years old.

Would the warranty cover the boot latch, my boot wont latch, it closes but does not secure to the car.   The car highlights this and bongs constantly, very annoying?

Trouble is you will probably have to stump up the £100 odd as a diagnostic fee before they would look at it even if under warrantee which you would only get back if they thought it was covered.

You are right, just changed it over the weekend, followed a youtube video, straightforward enough and I am not much of a mechanic.
