New boy

Hi all,

New here, but not to the VAG family.
I'm a Manc that has been living in Penzance for the last 27 years. I'm 54 and retired around 18 months ago... woohoo!

I've just bought myself a big bumper '90 GTI in white, as a replacement for a '65 Notchback.

My first car was an '89 Golf GTI, although had many Audi's and Volkswagen's since then.

You sound like you have it all sewn up!

a ) living in Penzance (it used to be my home from home there)
b ) being able to retire so young (I’m dead jealous!)
c ) owning a nice mk2 GTI (I had a good few of those back in the day)

Last time I was in Pz was in August to see the world renowned Distant Lands play at the North Inn, Pendeen  :laugh:

Yes I'm very lucky. I'm off over to Pendeen in the morning, just by coincidence... And to talk about old cars too!
