MK4 2.0 GTi - What's it worth ?

Hello All, I'm thinking of selling my Golf... Can anyone give me a guide line as to what it's worth as the prices in the Autotrader seem to vary so much.

1999 (T Reg) 2.0 8v GTi - 3Dr - 86k with F(VW)SH - Air con - Excellent condition, inside and out.

well not wanting to put a dampner on what sugars suggested above for a price but i think youll struggle... i use this guide as a rough outline price... ive entered your car details and this is what it comes out at

your car is worth as much is some one is willing to pay for it, when i was looking at trading mine for a scooby earlier this year the trade in values of £2500 made me change my mind to keep it...the golfs still hold there money well compared with other makes, but once the hype of the newer model (mk5) has worn off and the prices begin to lower slightly, it effects the used car market to.

christ!!    has my car lost all that value!!!!! when i bought it nearly 2yrs ago i paid £7k for it, done a glass's guide on it few months later when i was bored at work lol said it was worth £8K trade!!! i was chuffed now its worth sod all WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
