That sounds great, the main reason I opted for the 45 over standard clubsport was the Akrapovic, but my biggest concern was that it wouldn’t sound that nice after watching VolkWizards review.

Build week 46 for me now. My dealer has told me not to trust this date though as build weeks are all over the place.

Interestingly, I ordered a T-Roc for my mum and dad from the same dealers 3 weeks ago. Build week 43 for that. Logical.  :grin:

I was told that too. A few weeks ago, Joe knight (my dealer) actually emailed me with an update of week 47, a few hours later he emailed again to say it’d moved to week 43.

It’s been at week 44 now for a while so he’s hopeful for an end of October/early November delivery  :whistle:

I’m interested to know, did you all test drive a mk8 Clubsport/standard GTI or just go for the 45 based on your passed golf experience?

I personally just took the plunge, I had a mk7.5 GTD company car for 3 years that I loved and needed to get something on order as I’d requested to switch from company car to cash allowance scheme at work. My only other thought was to remain on company car and choose a GTE.

Does anyone know if the CS45 cloth armrest can be easily replaced with the faux leather version in standard CS?

I recently picked up my CS45 and can see this as being a high wear area so would just prefer to have the version from the standard CS. I can’t find a parts number though!

isn't it odd that the CS-45 has cloth armrest and "leather" door cards whereas its the other way round on the standard CS. I mean... Why?!!

Nothing different about a CS45 vs a CS... part readily swappable.
