Interesting story that. I’m sure that Vw said they expected things to improve in Q3/4 but not sure.

This arrived at my local dealers yesterday….

Couple of interesting things I noticed…
1. The door cards have “pleather” and the armrest is cloth. Isn’t it the other way round in the standard CS?
2. Really nice floor mats with a big GTI tag. Nice.

Overall, great looking car, nice presence. The cabin feels quite cosseted and seating position definitely goes lower than it did in the MK7 I think.

I’m not keen on the wheels though tbh.

The back looks really good with the spoiler and exhaust. Not sure on the colour though. I had white on my Ed 40 which I thought looked really well and contrasted well with the black bits of trim etc.

? Looks great.

If so looks like I was proven wrong afterall and you've bucked the trend and got a RHD ED45 without huge delays afterall.

No not my car! Yeah I’m waiting on a standard CS which is built but not yet made it onto a boat.

There are a few more of these 45’s around the country. A guy I know picked up a white one 3 weeks ago.

That showroom 45 looks really nice.
I actually like the wheels. They look to be lightweight and they don’t have that annoying (to clean) trench behind the spokes that most VW wheels have.  :cool:
