do you just have a whole spare car at yours?? :laugh:
I'll try it at 3500rpm and then may have to bite the bullet and get a new switch..I don't think your close enough to swap them over.. :rolleyes:

Try the scrappies first or ebay, as the module is around £300  :evil:

If your stuck, if you cover postage each way, i'll send them to you! shoulkd be no more than £2 each way!

I'm glad I was sat down reading that!!

I'll try the scrappy near me on the weekend if that's how much the module is...that's if I can find where the bloody thing is! If not I may take your offer up on the postage thing mate  :wink:

Ok..now I'm getting really pissed off..I've just been out to my car and it started a ran fine, revved it up and it's idling as normal..god knows what's going on with the thing!!

I tried the throttle switch and it didn't dip the revs so I'm guessing I've still got to replace that..I'll pay a visit to the local scrappie on the weekend me thinks.. :rolleyes:

I don't know about the switch being temperamental but I'm starting to get in one myself!!  :angry:

To top it all off I've got a leak from the water pump now...oh happy days  :cry:

had this prob when engine was very warm. Replaced ISV control module (about £6 off ebay!) and all is well now!
