Fitting Audi wheels . Do I need different wheel bolts??

I’m just about to purchase some Audi s3 b spoke alloys for my gti . Can I use my golf wheel bolts with Audi wheels, everywhere I’ve search seems to suggest they are the same but just want some clarification. Also does anyone know if my vw centre cap will be a direct fit??

Looking at the silver car it has the VW caps sat happily in the Audi wheels. Hopefully that should answer that question.
A3/S3 wheels use the same bolts as a Golf but some of the bigger Audis can use different bolts because the offsets are lower than A3 alloys. I’m far from an expert on that subject though. Also some big Audis have a larger centre bore which needs sleeving down with spigots when fitting to a Golf.
Again, if they’re off an A3 then the dimensions are all a direct fit to a Golf.

As Exonian says, as long as they are genuine Audi (not replicas) and definitely from an S3 (not S4/S5 etc) then they should fit the Golf without issue. 

Not sure about the centre caps though. Although if they come with Audi caps you should be able to get VW logo stickers to go over the top if your original VW caps don't fit.

Oh, yes, centre caps. Sorry was half asleep.
I was thinking about bolt caps as they’re normally the awkward thing to transfer over because Audi wheels tend to use a different design of nut cover cap.
Centre Caps on Audis are sometimes a fractionally different size. It’s a case of test it and see. Polo caps are a bit smaller than Golf caps so might be an option or good ol eBay logo sticker as Guzzle says.

I think I prefer the bottom set but that’ll be a personal thing for you when it comes to choice. Which can you see yourself preferring in a few months time as you walk up to the car each day?
The second ones look a bit more of a VW type design and maybe slightly more of a very modern looking wheel. But the first set look easy to maintain and are a clean cut design.

They both look like they're diamond cut to me, it's just that the first set aren't painted black.

Looks like diamond cut to me. There aren’t many alloys that are painted in two colours black as they are expensive to produce (time taken to mask off the areas painted in the first colour before applying the second colour).

I’d never buy diamond cut alloys if there was a decent alternative with a painted / powder coated finish. IMHO the diamond cut / lacquered finish suffers from poor durability and if the lacquer gets damaged, white worm corrosion sets in. Judging by posts on quite a few forums, diamond cut wheels are also quite susceptible to damage by inexperienced / over-enthusiastic tyre fitters or poorly maintained tyre changing equipment.

Agree with @Guzzle - I think the first set are also diamond cut. Some of the Audi diamond cut alloys seem to have a less ‘mirror-like’ finish than the VW ones on the diamond cut parts.

Spot on, the lack of contrast between the different areas on the first ones threw me off.
