Anyone know where you can grab some nice looking genuine gti rubber floor mats for right hand drive cars? These look ace but seem to be sold out on amazon and ebay.

They look like Monster Mats. AFAIK we don’t get these Monster Mats with red GTI logo for RHD cars in the UK .

You may find a set of aftermarket rubber mats with red edging and GTI logo for a RHD car though. I think one or two members on here have them. Seem to remember Sootchucker having a set for winter use in his GTI.

If you can’t find any, the standard all black OEM VW rubber mats are pretty good, although they won’t have red detailing and I think they have a black ‘Golf’ logo moulded into them.

I bought some genuine ones for about £90.  There are cheaper ones available but I held out for the genuine ones because I assumed they would be like the Audi ones which are really thick rubber and are kindov like a tray with a deep  lip to contain any water.  But they're not like that - pretty thin and no lip.  The material is nice and non slip though.  In hindsight I'd have been just as well to go for a cheap set of ebay.

I would have bought these if they had been in stock

KMPowell has some cool rubber mats in his GTI that I have seen in a similar post. He might be along soon to steer you in the right direction. Or maybe try a forum search.

Got these from Ebay, plus the one for the boot last year, they are good quality and do the job. Can only find them on AliExpress now though.

I bought a set of Hitech rubber mats to save my fancy red edged GTi carpet mats over the winter months. They are plain black, thick enough, fit perfectly and once fitted you never look at them again.
Around £25 on Ebay, they are UK made and seemed to score quite high in such things as Auto Express rubber floor mats reviews!

This is the exact same set I bought. I took a punt on them back in Feb 2019, at £85 all in. I had an eBay discount coupon which took them down to £61.50. I was surprised when they arrived, they were/are REALLY good quality and heavy duty.

They have taken a proper hammering over the past 2 years, but they still wash/clean up really well. I was expecting the red to wear away, but nope, it's still there. The boot liner/matt does a great job for scooters, wellies and general muddy child sh!te... and it stops the grocery shopping from sliding around!

The logo on the rear tunnel matt isn't to my taste, but with kids in and out all the time with their dirty muddy feet, it's more about the substance than the style for that particular need and it does a perfect job of protecting the tunnel carpet.

If you need protection from the muddy elements, then these are well worth the money IMO if you can find a set.

As SRGTD said, I've had this set now since I got the GTI back in May 2018 and they have taken a hammering. It's only the heel pad area that shows any signs at all of use, and even that is just a dulling of the sheen that was there when new, but it's still not rubbed though.

Cheers, I've found them on ebay too but wasn't confident on their fit. I'll give them a punt! They're slightly cheaper through their website, going to order the rubber mats and boot liner
