There may well be people on the R forum that have put in an order by now.
Times are indeed strange with too many uncertainties for us UK based members but the price, or rather actual cost, of the R is very high here and the car has actual real competition now instead of a market niche almost to itself like the mk7 did (the 7R was also comparatively good value when launched).
I think the 8R will become the darling of the press and YouTube crowd so popularity will increase once there are a few around.
