Question for Clubsport s owners

Could anyone tell if the CS recaro wingbacks have the side airbags pls?

I went out to have look at my CS wingback seats......
I cannot give a definitive answer, but looking at the seats closely, the side panels do not have "airbag" written anywhere (as per regular GTi seats) and I cannot see part of the seat that would give way for an airbag to emerge.

If you read through the CS ED40 online brochure, there is a brief description of the seats with no mention of airbags.

On what I have seen of my seats, I do not believe they have airbags fitted!

Thinking of some custom Recaros for my ED40 and just wanted to check as I can get them made very close to OEM but in leather.

Something I've been thinking of doing for a while now. Where are you looking at having this done? As well as what sort of cost are you looking at.

Have just thought about getting a set of the non-logoed audi black leather wingbacks too but don't know if that extra touch of retrimming would set them off much better.
