Somethings rolling around above glovebox 😡

Hi

When I brake or accelerate, some thing is rolling backwards and forwards between the glovebox and airbag area.
I’ve had glovebox out and can’t see anything.
Has anyone experienced this ?

Its not something in the air vent? Picked up a hire car once with a rattle under accelerating/braking. Drove me mad. Tracked it down to 2 x 20p pieces that some smart alec had put in the passenger air vent.

Ok I’m an idiot. Yes it did sound like something in the vent area.
Anyway, remembered my sunglasses were in the holder. Moved them and it seems to have stopped the noise.
How on earth does sound travel in these cars ?

Had similar last year but going around corners something was sliding back and forth across the dash. Took me a couple of days to realise it was Ice outside on the plastic trim under the wipers.

Glad you got sorted - I know how irritating it is..... Try removing coins from the air vent (without removing the vent) - answers on a postcard.
