I've used this company.......

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pair-Premium-MOT-Road-Legal-Car-Van-Reg-Registration-Number-Plates-Free-Shipping/153616327159?hash=item23c43f21f7:g:R1AAAOSwVoJeb5gY

But I bought their "cleaner" non MOT compliant ones.

Obviously for when the car is just parked on the drive......

Platesforcars for me. Their legal plates have an almost invisible BS number and Postcode in the bottom right corner.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Thanks for the info guys,  will have a look at these suggestions in the morning, I've used A1 showplates a few years ago, but always good to have some other options

Only ever use fullhousecustoms for my plates. Really nice gel plates with full legal certificate.

I may be a little late to the party here but I have always shopped with https://www.number1plates.com and they've been good for me.

I have short 4d plates at the minute...  they do require docs though which can be annoying for some https://www.number1plates.com/blog/are-my-number-plates-legal/
