Can anyone tell me if there is a pipe missing on the throttle housing underneath the 'idle speed control screw' on my mk2 8v gti '85 K-Jet.
There appears to be two outlet pipes. One has a yellow pipe and goes of to the diaphragm pressure switch. The other one is blocked off. According to hayes manual it shows a pipe that should go to the vacum connection for spark control.
Reason for asking is that when we aquired the car the outlet pipe was open so we blocked this off with a bung as it surley needed to be to help prevent any sort of pressure loss ?
