This month found both mags really poor felt like i was picking up a leaflet(ok bit of an exaggeration). Atleast with the golf+ the subscriptions work out cheaper and i wish id got the haynes golf gti performance manual free a few months back. Depending on the cars inside i usually prefer the golf+ because of the ask the brain section and the for sales is much bigger but readers rides in pvw is usually pretty good. sorry guys im to young for Air colled motors

i buy both and i'm not sure i could say which one i prefer. golf+ seems a bit more user friendly, in that alot of their feature cars are uk based and are in the realms of achievable. whereas pvw has more car porn and features the extremes of modifying. i also think pvw think they are god like and their opinion is the only right one. they seem to feature cars that fit in with their current favourite image. and how many shots of the staff at shows can they put in? ego trippers definately!!

i'll probably still buy both as you do get some good stuff in there but they both have their downsides.
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

I can't stop buying both pvw and golf+ and have done for years and years! I think with Golf+ they give the impression of genuinely loving the UK dub scene whereas PVW just love themselves  The PVW e38 show review was just a joke. I know it was a very social event but why so many pictures of people messing about and so few of all the hundreds of wicked cars? All their talk of how e38 and VW Festival were so good, while constantly slating the old shows like Inters gets on my nerves. Perhaps if they actually put a bit of effort in and had a proper presence at more UK shows rather than bringing us the latest pics of them getting drunk at various euro shows....

and don't get me started on that Ultimate Golf magazine PVW did!

Il get you started then. i had a browse at ultimate pvw and wouldnt mind buyin it but was well pricey (think it was £7) for what it was and i got the mags with most them features in not impressed at all. a review of some local meets and daily drives would have been more interesting for myself.
