Thinking about moving from a 1.5 tsi 150 dsg to a 2019 gti dsg

So is there anything wrong with the 2019s as over the mk7 owners club there seems to be a whole topic discussing 2019 stalling issues, has me a bit concerned. Thanks

My 2019 has never missed a beat! By 245, do you mean the car is a Performance? If so, similar spec to mine, which I love. It is simply a totally competent car, which has ample capability on all counts. Just do it!

Spec is 2019 indium grey 245 pp with 19 inch Brescia wheels and I think that’s it but not sure if it has anything else, even tho I’m well accustomed to vw golfs I’ve never had a gti so not sure all the engines , gearboxes etc , I’m meant to be checking out tomorrow.

An absolute no brainier - get it done today. I bought mine from new at the end of 2018, possibly the best car I’ve ever owned.
Economy is great  - drive reasonably gently on a long run and 40+mpg is easy
Build quality - top notch
Equipment level - as standard, struggle to think what else you would want
Service costs - probably no more than what you are paying now
DSG - brilliant
Looks - Indium grey is a great colour, makes the red trim pop out ( I’m biased)
Fun factor - where roads permit, plant the right foot, feel the front end lift a little and watch the horizon rush towards you😎😄

Looks great! I'm sure you'll enjoy the test drive! As others have said regarding spec, they come with so much as standard, unless there is something you specifically want, I wouldn't worry about it.

Finally had a test drive and while the car drove lovely There was a few Things that sort of turned me off. 1. The front tyres was replaced with kumos
2. Rear wheel had a small scuff
3 rear bumper had a few chips where stuff has been pulled out the boot.
4. 3 inch thin scratch on rear door( not down to metal)
5. Passenger seat top side had a dirt stain.

Even tho they said they could smart repair the door. I said no
And smart repair the bumper and the wheel. Apart from all this the car did look nice and drove nice. So for now Im leaning on not taking it

It always amazes me that they'll happily have a car for sale looking far less than its best, but will sort all the things putting you off before you buy.
