They do look really good, far better than a single colour.   I wonder what Brecias done the same way would look like?  Anyone tempted to do theirs?

Brescias may look OK powder coated in a single colour.

IMO wheels with wider spokes look better with a two tone finish (lighter coloured face, darker recessed areas between the spokes), but wheels with slimmer spokes can usually get away with being a single colour pretty well.

They do look good.

I have 3 needing refurbed but just can’t bring myself to pay for it as guaranteed it will happen again due to Edinburgh’s appalling roads.

Have considered some aftermarket wheels but plan to change car within the next 12 months so will probably trade in with the scuffs.

There a wheel specialist in Edinburgh also, used them before and was happy with the work not the £150 though!

Just had a look on eBay there’s black fake 18in Pretoria’s for £500 wonder how they would look on a black GTi.

Not 18” but here’s a black GTI Clubsport with Black 19” Pretoria’s which will show you what black on black looks like;

The CM Wheels replica Prets are also popular with owners over on VWROC.com. Both the 18” and 19” versions are available in Gunmetal and Silver as well as black;

Here is my black GTI with 19” gloss black Prets if you want to see. IMO 18” will look too small, especially if you go for gloss black

The reps will weigh more than the real ones, so just bear that in mind. Also the reps don’t come in the correct OEM VW blue chrome if that also bothers you
