Autoglym Ultra HD works for me on Indium Grey. Quite expensive but not too strenuous to apply or remove. It gives a great depth of shine/ lustre and lasts at least six months with just maintenance washing before it needs redoing. It creates a really pronounced beading effect and the water sheets off quickly. :smiley:

I personally don’t think you need to spend a fortune on a wax or sealant to get a good product that gives good protection, durability and finish. I’ve been using these two products for the last 8-9 years and haven’t bothered trying any alternatives as I find they perform well and offer good value for money;
  • Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. A no nonsense product. It’s the liquid equivalent of Collinite 476S and being a liquid it’s easy to apply and buff off and leaves a high gloss finish. I find it provides good protection for up to 6 months if a wax-safe ph neutral shampoo is used for regular washing that doesn’t strip off the wax. Can be bought for around £19 for a 473ml / 16 fl oz bottle, and a bottle lasts ages.
  • Fusso Coat 12 months wax. In spite of its name a) it’s a synthetic sealant b) I’ve not managed to get 12 months protection from an application of this product, but I have managed to get 8-9 months which IMO is pretty good, so I feel it offers good durability, provided a good wax-safe ph neutral shampoo is used for regular car washing. It’s extremely hydrophobic so repels water well and gives a good glossy finish. A 200g tin costs around £30 and a tin will last a long while. There are two versions of this product; one for dark and another for light coloured cars.
2020 Polo GTI Plus; Pure White, DSG (because they all are)
Gone but not forgotten;
2016 Polo GTI; Blue Silk
2011 mk6 Golf GTD; Carbon Grey
2007 mk5 Golf GT (2.0 170bhp TDI version); Deep Black Pearl
2002  mk4 Golf GTI (the 150 bhp diesel version); Deep Black Pearl

I use Dodo Juice wax - blue velvet for my dark iron / isaac blue Golf. Easy enough to apply and buff and not expensive, they often have sales too.

Polishing - gives depth and shine
Wax/Sealant - protects the paint and seals in the shine

There's also detailing section on the forum for questions like this.
