Can anyone recommend a good, trusted detailer in the North West. I live in Glossop so Stockport / Manchester are nearest larger town/City. I’m interested in a full body paint correction and ceramic coating. Thanks in advance.

I'm still lurking  - I miss my Clubsport too much to leave forever...

Kingy25, I used Jordan's Detailing World in Mossley (so pretty close to you I think) and would definitely recommend his work - his attention to detail and customer service throughout was excellent. He's on Facebook and Instagram but you would need to go down there for him to assess your car and go through your options.

I've included a few images from the work he did on mine - this was a 2 stage paint correction, Nanolex Si3D coating, glass coating, interior sealant, wheels off detail with calipers coated and hubs painted black and 2 sets of alloys ceramic coated.

I've talked to him about my Touareg but the paint is a mess (and it's massive) so I'm going to make sure I'm keeping the car for a bit before I invest.

Thanks Andy, that looks mint. Moseley is close so def an option. What kind of ball park price was that if you don’t mind me asking? (I have no idea what to expect so would just like a pointer). Thanks.

As a guide, an enhancement detail should be anywhere from £600-£1000, depending on how much 'correction' is needed and how much product is used. Good ceramic coatings are pretty much the same price, so the other variant is how many coats are used, and where it's used i.e Bodywork only, or bodywork plus wheels, glass, plastics etc.

The bulk of your money is spent on the detailer and their skill/attention to detail. Get that right is my advice, find somebody with a good rep, somebody who is PVD Approved, and is approved by ceramic coating manufacturer to use their pro (non consumer) products.

It wasn't cheap but in kmpowell's range (albeit at the top end)... it cost me £900. If I was keeping a car for a while I would definitely do it again.

I can recommend this guy https://www.offyourmarks.com/

Doesn’t put his premises address online but it is in the North West. Worth a call.
