Have you downloaded 7zip (it's free) to unzip it? It shouldn't be unzipping to another zip file.

Are you able to post screenshots?. Just to make sure everything in the folders looks correct

chromebooks are bloody awkward things to use when it comes to anything more than surfing.

Sorry, struggling to paste a screen shot (unlike your chromebook)

looking at your screenshot there does not appear to be a data file there?

This is my downloaded file: DiscoverMedia2_EU_AS_1430_V12.7z which is c. 14Gb in size.

When I unzipped it, it only had one folder: Maps in the top level directory.

Not sure if this help....

I don't use ChromeBooks so sorry if I've got anything wrong  can see you've downloaded the file 5+ times haha.

1. Grab one of the P184(...etc).ZIP files you've downloaded
2. Copy
3. Open your SD card/USB stick location
4. Paste
5. Right click on the folder
6. Press 'Extract here' (thats what you need 7Zip or WinRAR for)
7. Once it's done extracting the files delete the .ZIP folder

Hope that helps somehow

Indeed. Thank you. Not sure whats happening with the install as it has been 'searching for software updates' for several minutes with nothing seemingly happening.  When i had the wrong file on the SD card it told me within a minute..so is the searching for software updates taking ages normal?
