I do feel for you, waiting 6 weeks for my PP was torture, can't imagine waiting as long as you have. I would say though it's a great car, if you can wait I'm pretty sure after the first drive all will be forgiven.

So still no movement. Five weeks since it left the factory and still no ship allocation. Apparently cars destined for the North East don't always go to Port of Tyne and quite often go to Grimsby. Grimsby had a vehicle carrier in yesterday and another arriving tomorrow yet Tyne has nothing else this month.

Is that because there's bugger all demand for Sunderland built Nissans on the continent right now?

Can confirm from the end of my street and all the hooks heard outside last night that there are plenty of cargo ships entering and exiting the Tyne.

Yeah I can see plenty of ships on marine traffic just not vehicle carriers. Grimsby have now had three carriers to Tynes one. City of Rotterdam back in Emden tomorrow morning but can't see where it's going after that.

All I know on my side is that the car is sat in Grimsby waiting for a vehicle transport to the dealership.

There isn't any plans on when it will move, all I'm told is that the expectation is they typically want to clear the cars by the end of the month...

Yes... Well apparently in a turn of events my dealership just sent me a video of my car at the dealership... Which turned up unexpectedly today!

There's a "tax block" on it and apparently most of that team is on Furlough so no longer a physical restriction it's now an approvals restriction...

Dvla have all run away. Absolutely nothing moving through them at all unless it's a lorry.

I did a SORN on my Father in Laws car a couple of weeks ago - took about 10 days to register vs. the time period of a day when I did my sons car a year ago - fingers crossed for you though.
