Had my 5A message from VW this morning!

Original order went in on December 19th. I've waited so long! Only a couple weeks off waiting 6 months.

 Think I'll put my Scottish Widows outfit on, stand on the cliffs at Tynemouth and wait for my beloved TCR's boat to come in.

Fingers crossed its actually a bit ahead of what I've been told and its on the same ship as you guys' cars.

We can all stand together (2m apart) and welcome our beloved German invasion! I feel like I should've gone for the TCR to join in with the crew now...

I got the 5b on 29th May so hoping I skip the 5c and get the arrived in UK on Tuesday. Not holding my breath though.

This thread reminds me of 2 years ago when I ordered mine - 26th June just as WLTP started, so instead of September, I picked it up at the end of December.
I recall once it got to the docks at Bremen everything happened really quickly, I was worried it might have got stuck there. Some were being stored at at the empty Berlin Airport but mine was stored at Wolfsburg and then onto Emden.
I finally picked it up on the 21st December, Friday before Christmas and I’d just had some good news on a project I’d been sweating over at work for 18 months the day before - Christmas had a nice glow that year.
