A nod to the fact the UK has become such a huge market for the R maybe? Or just convenient timing.
Funny how VW said at the mk7 launch they might not even bring the 7R to the UK because hardly anyone bought a 6R! How times change.
Everyone cross their fingers for a few months now to see if a silk purse can be made from a sow’s ear.
