I can’t recall seeing pics or those wheels on a Golf but they might be marketed under different names in different markets. Have a look on forums such as golfmk7.com where they have dedicated alloy wheel threads. I’ve not been on that forum for quite a few years so have lost track of what’s what.
A good few R owners were running Cades Bern alloys over on VWROC.com a while ago, mostly in 19” fitment though.
To answer your other questions, yes, they’ll fit fine in those dimensions and the original 225/40/18 tyres can still be utilised.
