I thought talk of March being the close date was leaving it late.

Wonder how many TCR's there will be?  Expect it will be quite limited what with the price etc.  Hopefully help residuals a bit (or at least here's hoping )

0% finance on Golf has really exceeded the expectations of the brand and orders have been flying in filling all UK production slots.

Thankfully I already have a build week (of 4)  confirmed - I suspect mine will be towards the end of the run then!

I've just had a PCP quote back on a TCR.... the GFV residuals are terrible!

Not sure why, but oh well.

Finance houses tend to view anything perceived as "special edition" as having a lower future value (same happened with the ED40 CS), then factor in the end of the model run and the algo's will be predicting a hefty price drop at resale.

Howmanyleft show 420 registered TCR so slightly less than the ED40.  Short term I wouldn't expect the price to hold up, especially given that every ex-demo / dealer principle car appears to be on Autotrader at the mo, but as many seem to rightly regard the 7/7.5 as the high water mark for the GTI hang on to one for a good few years and I imagine they will one day begin to appreciate, although by then we'll all be riding in Johnny cabs and car ownership will probably have gone the same way as keeping a horse has
