Buying a new car from third party company.

As the title suggests, I’m looking at buying new, there’s lots of websites offering huge discounts.
Anyone used any of these sites to buy? Experiences please!

CarWow or DriveTheDeal are widely used by people here.

I used DTD, never done it before but saved an absolute fortune.

Its not really a third party company anyway - both of those (and others) basically front a discount but the vehicle is supplied by an actual VW main dealer. All of the usual main dealer things are available - VW finance, factory orders, warranty etc.

There is no downside IMHO.

The deals seem too good to be true.
Not just for an R, an Audi S3 at little over £30k
If it’s so easy, then how do the dealers get away with pricing used 19 plates at around £30k?

Because some people are a bit daft still and walk-in off the street and buy a car without looking online.

I've never been in the position of needing (or wanting) to buy a new car

Me too, I’ve never thought buying new was worth it.
But I’m not paying £29k for a 6 month old car, if I can get brand new for £30k.

Its just that most people pay retail prices... or are happy with an extra 500 quid "discount" the dealer offers in their retail premises.

I got I think about 8k off of my current Golf Mk7.5...

I've tried Carwow before when I was researching for a potential client project and the car is supplied new by the local dealers who reply to your submission. You are just getting an awesome deal without having the hassle to drive to 3 or 4 dealers and listen to the sales BS or deal with people who have no clue what they are selling.
