Wheel alignment in the North East

mcmaddy, do you remember the posts in January 2019?

Where did you get your last alignment done?

Were you pleased with the service and results?

I ended up going to Richard Martin in Peterlee. Was only marginally out but car feels much better than pre adjustment. Btg in North Shields also have a full Hunter set up but the guy didn't seem too interested in doing mine for some reason 🤷‍♂️

mcmaddy, it's great to hear from you.

Peterlee is within easy striking distance of Darlington where I am so I'll give Richard Martin a try.

BTW are you able to tell us here what was the outcome of Revolution trashing the threads on your hubs?   Did they pay for the rectification work?

Ah that was on my old Tiguan. They just denied everything so I ended up getting the dealer to sort it. Apparently Revolution are going out of business.

mcmaddy, that's interesting about Revolution. 
My eldest son had bad experience with them this year too.  I can't really post details here though.

I meant to ask you about Richard Martin, is there anyone there in particular I should specifically ask to do the job?

Still deliberating about which independent to approach for the check.

Do you think they'd want to know if the car had Dynamic Chassis Control, which it has?

Would that make any difference to their alignment process?

Tyre spot in Durham next to the Renault garage are spot on

I’m fussy a hell with my cars and they were really good. I’m taking it there when it’s due it’s MOT as well
