Missing DAB station logos

So, I have logos (not the upgraded nav just the standard one) on the TCR for a couple of stations like talk sport, but not for all of them.

Is this just down to the station not transmitting the data?  Is there a way to resolve this?  Its not like I am picking small local stations, its most of them from what I can see.

Any help appreciated.

I suspect its down to UK DAB stations not transmitting the logos over the air....or at least not in a format VW handle.

AFAIK this has been a problem since the Mk7 MIB units came into existence.

The only solution is to manually define the logos if you can be bothered - personally, I can't.

You should be able to get the majority of logos. I think I only added 1 or 2 when I saved my stations.

This will be one of my tasks soon, - my main listening is radio and podcast via Apple Play when on longer journey (if it was bluetooth, likely use more)

On the MIB 1 on my GTD I had to download all of them onto memory card and define but the R did about 90% and all the main stations use, so I just dumped the ones without logo on the 3rd screen as too lazy to go look for, save and import - You should be able to get all the main ones like BBC stations, Heart, Capital, Smooth - so which ones missing?

Capital was one of the ones missing strangely, and I think the other was Kiss. (Don't judge  ), so national stations.

I definitely have a Capital Logo and not judging on Kiss, used to listen to it a lot back in the day, but not have that as a preset - Not sure where you are but the London stations, unless National do disappear on me to Regional ones from time to time, so maybe you on verge of the broadcasting limit and with some better atmospherics maybe they will just appear

That was what my thinking was too.

I will see how it plays out.  Like you I would use Podcasts more and Apple Music for the longer journeys just not sure I will get in the habit of connecting the phone for the shorter ones, but time will tell.

I use google image search, then use snipping tool around the small thumbnail. Transfer to a memory card and stick it in the spare slot in glove box. Go into radio settings and station logos I think.

you do realise you can download the entire lot from the VW website don't you?
