exaust tips 7.5 gti

Has anybody removed the exhaust tips from there 2019 gti,i think they are spot welded on.Has any one changed them , I have slight damage to one and want to replace with oem ,many thanks

Dont know the answer to this but I would like to know if 7.5 tips can be fitted to a 7 as they are larger?

They are welded on so would need to be cut off. Too much faff if you ask me. Better of replacing the back box I would of thought.

Think you might struggle to get some replacement tips as they are much larger, 95mm, than the old the GTI ones.

Even Kunzmann don't have them = https://www.kunzmann.de/shop/en/products/?kategorie%5B0%5D=1&baureihe%5B0%5D=76&filter=&order=relevanz+DESC

Could the damage be polished out or made to look better as another option?
