VW completely shut-down production of GTI’s over the summer. Nothing MY19 was fully built until mid November 2018 at the very earliest. When build started again nothing was WLTP compliant and MY19 specs still hadn't been confirmed, there was a further undocumented spec change from BW47, but it was only from BW51 that the 3x options were fully build confirmed. The three options were Keyless (normally £375), Lane Assist with Dynamic, Light Assist including, Traffic Sign Recognition (normally £650), and Rear-view camera (normally £340). The GTI was only WLPT certified 3rd week of December.
My MY19 GTI was built on the 28th of November and it arrived at my dealer on the 22nd of December. I has Keyless and the Rear Camera, but no LA/DLA/TSR. Other MY19 GTI's I know of turned up with none of the 3 options, others with all three options. I wanted a cost for the LA/DLA/TSR refunded because I made a very simple point to my dealer(which they agreed with and said they would take it up with VW) that there was no literature out there that said a MY19 came in a variety of spec depending on build date. The brochures (and all the stuff VW had on their website) was very clear, you either got a MY18 car or a MY19 car, so IMO if you got a MY19 car then you should have got what was advertised in the brochures. My dealer agreed and so did VW and I was duly refunded £650.
If your car was built in late November 2018 that will be the same as when mine was built, so unless it was specced by yourself then I very much doubt it’ll have any of the options. It’ll be a complete lottery.
