They don't look great on that car to be fair.

These wheels look little bit lost against the darker colours. IMHO they suit white, red and tungsten cars best.

Saw a White Silver GTI recently with these wheels and thought they looked good. They’re a bit of a Marmite wheel; I like them and IMO the red ring around the edge goes well with the other red accents on the GTI. Just my opinion though. I wouldn’t want to clean them though as they’re quite an intricate design.

The big plus for me is they’d be much more durable than VW’s diamond cut alloys, so will go safely through the UK’s winter weather without succumbing to white worm corrosion. There’ll probably be quite a few examples of Parker, Santiago and Brescia diamond cut alloys with white worm when they get to 3 - 3.5 years old.

Thanks everyone. I’m not the biggest fan of them either if I’m honest, hence the reason for asking the question. However, I do like them better on that that colour than on white. My opinion but think they look bloody awful on white cars. My local garage has one in stock but it’s the only colour combo they have in a DSG (I’ve not been to see it yet) and My 340i goes in the next week so I need a car sharpish.

Just to add, it’s only to have the car six month as it’s on a Friends and family scheme.

Every time I think of 5 docked space shuttles, I think of Moonraker- perhaps that should be the new name for them?
