Right just sticking a post up to see how many people would be interested??

Knightriders propersition is a calender with "standing members" of golfgti - I.E. no people who do not post often/not very regular to the site.

12 months, 1 car each month, maybe a members mug, a little box of mods and general car info. All entries will be whittled down to 12 cars then months picked at random for each car.

I would be willing to run it, if someone has contacts to make the calender on the cheap and then retail it at shows and within the club as an extra bit of merchandise maybe??

All thoughts welcomed.

can help with lots of printing things but calendars i think we may need some help here......

will have to have catagories drawn up as to what you want your car entered into...

i think take the best pics u can, and post em up here for a kinda vote... leave it up for 3-4 weeks and see how it goes, once down to fianl 12 easy, but if no printing available how about the screeensaver/calendar idea jv suggested?? i do get bored of lookin at this mk1 rocco storm... a change once a month would be good if the printing thing didnt come to light

yeah the d/l sounds good aswell if printing turned out to be a problem.

If you really wanted to push the boat out you could have a mk specific calender, although i think a mix would be better. Maybe even some group ones I.E. all mk2 lined up together, then all models of mks, but we shall see.

I can work some magic on pictures if they need a bit of playing with, but other than that i think gaz is onto a winner.

i am up for the printed idea if we can get it done very cheaply but i think it will be another one of those things where the money gets paid up front and it then takes forever to sell the things. in fact, with a time dependent product like this, that could get tricky

welll we do have a rather superb place for pics round here... not that peeps would wanna travel for a photo shoot... but im sure some of us easterners can drum you lot up a few nice pics to add to the calendar spread....but wether they would get chosen would be another matter...

as for timing... gotta be right for calendars.. most sold in oct/nov/dec then the cheapskates buy them in jan/feb......... so hmmmmmm

 

id be prepared to spend £10-15 for the right calendar... something that looks cool on your wall like... better than the dolphins job ive been lookin at this year... (not dolphins noses either )

aye, maybe we are cutting it a bit fine here then to get a calender out.

Perhaps if we got a load of pictures sent to an account, then i will knock out a few wallpapers although i will need some webspace to save them too full size.

Members Cars, Members cars and women (be them random or people they know), members cars and men (for the female viewers)

if we can get that ticking over for the best part of a year then it gives people a bit of variety and might whet appetites for a calender to be started on during show season next year??

yup a printed 2007 calendar to flog at show/online tis good...

see how the online thing will go... well id better get old lard @rse washed and dropped some more and some piccies taken on thursday at a disused airfield.....
