Hi all
I own a 2016 Gti plenty of pics around the forum in detailing and what have done topics.
The car is excellent condition 4k on the clock it also was a direct factory order by me not pre built and it was cash bought not finance it has all the options except leather and performance pack.
It's got the optional 19in santis also excellent condition not scuffed or any marks many little extras on the car also
Cheers Neil
Hard to give an upper/lower indication of value without knowing options or what the little extras are. If you've put ceramic coating on or any finishes, you won't see the money back. It gives buyer's confidence that the car has been cared for if you can prove detailing finishes (i.e. through a detailer invoice) but of course it will also show in the condition. But at 4k miles, I'd expect the car to look like new anyway.
Being HPI clear isn't really a selling feature of the car nor is the fact that it was a factory order.
I'd be concerned about such low mileage and would be asking questions about the type of journeys and use it had.
I can get a GTI Performance with extras at MSRP of £36k for £28,558.00 through DTD. That's a 7.5 factory order so comes with a 12-16 week wait. That's delivery miles, no leather (Art Velours) and upgraded nav, audio and multiple driver assistance options, DCC.
I'd guess your car will be about £20k with a spread of £2-4k based on your spec but I suspect dealers will be pushing incredible deals on MK 7.5 stock to catch up on cancelled orders due to WLTP and with the MK 8 coming out.
I'd approach a non marque broker, there are plenty around and see what they say.
