I should think you feel a bit annoyed about that, but in theory the price you've agreed is an on the road price, so it shouldn't make you out of pocket.

Not sure about others but when i ordered in July the dealer made me sign a form about WLTP that came from VW which essentially said that due to the new testing, the official fuel consumption and CO2 emission figures at the time I ordered the car may not be the same as the actual car i receive. However should it change I could cancel or change my order free of charge.

I've ordered a DSG so doesn't affect me

Just checked my order form where it states road fund license (CO2 150 g/km) & First Reg. Fee £260, I didn't sign any form relating to WLTP so will be interesting to hear my dealers approach to the increase.

Its 143g/km for the dsg on the page you select engine/gearbox

If you do it for the manual it says £515 at the end in the summary. Have they dropped the purple black colour as well?
