UV dashlights

If this works there should be a picture of my UV lights below, i'll post a how to when i change the clocks to 160mph/8000rpm jobbies during my 16v conversion.



If its not there, somebody help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looks nice. Would look even sweeter with white dials!

White dials wouldn't work cos its the numbers that are glowing, the picture doesn't really show it that well.

As for the clock, i've had a good look at it and from what i can make out i think its the actual circit board that makes it green, i tried a blue bulb in it but it just went really dull, i doesn't stand out half as much in real life though and does fit in quite well.

I reckon it's a green film that goes over the front of the display that makes it go green... ;)

i took the green film out when i fitted my blue led's!

Well thats that then the green film must go, so do i have to take the clock apart to get to the film?

yeah kind of, when you have the clocks out near where the bulbs screw in you will see where the top meets the clock body there are some plastic tyrpe welds, just pry the two parts apart and the top will pop off, now just take the green film out! its hard to discribe but i hope you get the idea!   :tongue:
