any way to reset the oil change notification on MFD without using a diagnostics system?  Will be changing engine oil at a Castrol service station which is much cheaper than taking the car to the dealer or to a garage and i don't want the "oil service in xxx Km" to show for the next 3 months until my next engine service.
Wife's: mk8 TSI 1.4 RL, 5dr atlantic blue, DSG, Norfolk 17", pan s/r, leds
Now: mk7.5 TSI 1.4 RL, 5dr tornado red, DSG, Singapore 17", pan s/r, leds
Before: mk6 GTI 5dr candy white, DSG, Monza Shadow 18", s/r, bi-Xenons, DCC
Even before that: mk5 GT 5dr tornado red, manual, s/r

Yeah that’s an easy one, a quick google will help but it’s something like hold in the odometer reset button beyond the normal reset and it goes in to service interval reset.

ta found it much appreciated.  would hate to have to drive all the way to the dealer just for a reset.

I drive 200 miles to collect my car last year - a few months later it started asking for an oil change (with about 500 miles on the clock) and my local dealer suggested I go back to where the car came from... I took to google.
