Clubsport 60-80 and 80-100mph times.
« on: 09 July 2018, 11:41 »
I was asked to do this by a fellow member on here with a remapped CS for comparison with his. Thought some others on here might also find it interesting if they have the torque app and wanted to compare their times. Starting at 45mph in fourth gear and floored it through to just over 100mph...

Interesting figures.
It would be good to see the equivalent from an R and a normal GTI too.
Quite linear acceleration and quick too, the stuff dreams were made of for GTi’s back in the Mk1 and mk2 days!

For the equivalent you'd need to have times from a mapped R and GTI as that was a stage 1 Clubsport, quicker than both of them if they're in stock form. 4th gear is really where you can profit from the extra power in these cars: very convincing, effortless pull. In 3rd and below you will occasionally struggle with wheel-spin and above 5th the gearing is not helping.
