Surely it's best to keep them to put back on the car when you sell it, or for fitting winter tyres to?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

That’s what I did with the diamond cut alloys on my Polo GTI when I changed the wheels. The original wheels + Bridgestone tyres have been stored and will go back on the car when I sell it. Some buyers may be put off by aftermarket alloys when you come to sell the car and would want the original wheels put back on.

When I had my mk6 Golf GTD, I changed the wheels (fitted a set of VW Rotary alloys) and stored the original diamond cut Charleston alloys. When the time came to sell the car, I part exchanged it and the VW dealer didn’t want to take the car without the original Charleston wheels on.

Back on the subject of the OP’s original Parker alloys. These don’t seem to be a particularly popular design of wheel if the comments of some of the members on this forum is anything to go by - so you may be better off keeping them, and as dubber36 suggests, put them back on the car when you sell it, so the car’s returned back to OEM spec. You can then consider selling whatever wheels you’re now planning on putting on your car.

Same here, unless you're desperate for the cash i wouldn't flog your OEM wheels. Come sale time your car will be more saleable to more people with them left on.

Same as what I'm doing Jeff, I'm going to store the original wheels and keep them until I sell, the next owner will get a set of near brand new alloys.

Btw Jeff, look at this.... http://www.vwmotorparts.com/accessories-c-37_472_473/genuine-vw-golf-facelift-oettinger-roof-spoilergti-gtdgolf-r-p-1478.html

I assume you know that a Clubsport spoiler won't fit a GTI/GTD/R hatch?  They will only fit onto a basic Golf hatch.

Hi Trev, yes I know. I've got a "saved search" on ebay, just waiting for a 2017/18 tailgate to come up in the right colour.

But to be honest, it probably won't happen, my wife is dead against the clubsport spoiler idea  but maybe she is right, it would mean messing around swopping tailgates, and possible alignment issues ???

Also I saw an Ottinger one on a Golf in the car park at GTI Internationa yesterday and I thought it looked pretty good, so I might do that.

Or my other idea is to have the roof and the spoiler completely wrapped in Gloss Black. That's what the new TCR Golf has, so maybe thats the way forward, the cheapest and most sensible anyway

Reckon they'd be worth what anyone is willing to pay for them!

Personally I like them but think there will be many mk7 owners wanting to upgrade but you might get lucky.

As for fitting a Clubsport spoiler and needing to fit a different tailgate to do this to 2018 GTI... Well you must be keen to waste some serious money! Think I'd agree with your wife on this one...
