I've never felt the need for a pedalbox with my REVO stage 1. Drives great as it is.
First of all I'm glad that you like it, saves you any extra trouble. I don't have solid knowledge on how the Revo map changes the throttle response so I guess it could be better than other tunes?
Still, I offered to give my box to two people that swore to me their throttle seemed fine and after the test drive (in their cars not mine) they both said they liked it and that it did make a difference, one was a stock Cupra, one a remapped R.
I've driven mapped VAG cars from various tuners over the years and not a single one of them had as sharp a response as you get with the pedalbox. In my last car, I had asked for this from my tuner and since it was a custom tune and the tuner was open to requests for fine adjustments he did improve it, but only after my specific request.
