Best to use a decent size compressor, of about "15cfm" constant flow per min, then use a hvlp spray gun, reducing overspray and waste of paint, if the colour of your car is black and your goin to white, i'd prime the whole car, as flating it back wont be good enough...
then for paint, standox is your best bet, but you need to be registered to buy it, so next best alternative is auto-paint international, you should be able to find a number for them in your yellow pages, all their paint comes from holland and is top notch...
if your not experienced in painting though, maybee best to let sum1 else do it, but if you do it, make sure you put plenty of paint on, use a solid white colour, rather than basecoat and laquer, then flat it back and polish up.....
