« on: 08 October 2005, 18:30 »
Hi just thought I'd let you all know, I finally got around to fitting my uprated headlamp loom!

Results:

Before: 10 volts at drivers side and 10.6 at passenger.

After: 13.6 at both!!

And to top it off it cost next to nothing as got most of my bits from work!!!

Check that you don't have condensation on your lens. If you do dry it out and run it without the rubber bungs

No chance of that mate, lights are sealed tight, and bulbs beam is so hot that it cannot get condensed. Tried altering them by the little screws on the light but makes no difference. Seems like the bulb pattern is fooked, just wondered if anyone else has this problem and how it was solved.  :undecided:

If this was directed at me then,

There is only one way it can be wired in. It runs direct from the battery, onto the end of the wiring loom by the lights, and then relevant length connector goes to relevant bulbs.

our headlight had no pattern, it had lost a metal clip that holds the bulb, new clip and bulb sorted it
