Proper shiny 7.5 GTI

Picked it up today after it spent 3 days being polished and protected.

Highly recommended.

It’s been protected with paint protection film on bumper, half bonnet etc and then ceramic coated on rest of car.

Looks fantastic CocoPops :cool:. Love the wheels and Tornado Red combination, and no risk of white worm corrosion on the wheels that sadly happens with many diamond cut alloys.

For a car that’s only a few weeks old there were quite a lot of swirl marks in the paintwork :shocked: before the detailer worked their magic. Now that it’s swirl free and looking superb, the key will be to keep it looking that way.

Lots of useful information over in the Detailing section to help in maintaining it so it continues to look ‘proper shiny’. :smiley:

It came via VW direct, was a staff purchase.
This means they are treated the same way as company cars for new prep... ie quick and dirty.

I knew this when I bought it, hence the work at DMC as intend to keep it long term.

I would like to do that to mine but can't spend anymore at the moment.
I was pleasantly surprised when I collected mine that I couldn't find any swirls even though I let them prep it( I did warn them though to be careful)

Is the film protection noticeable being only half done on bonnet? Also how long does it last?

I love the red! Did I say that already?  :grin:

Film will last 10yrs? They’re pretty good now.

You can see the line from a metre away? Especially if looking for it.
It will stop the unsightly white spots from stone chips.
