Back to the Gti fold
« on: 08 January 2018, 22:13 »
Hi all, been lurking for a while, finally made decision to return to vw gti.
Always liked vw since driving. Had mk 1 golf 1.3cl.Eventually got mk2 gti when I could afford it (loved it) and mk3 which was ok but not as much fun.
Circumstances brought me away for a while now able to have gti again.
Going down lease route.
Was really considering an R (estate)but feel its too much power for the missus as she will be driving it as well.
Anyway Ordered 5dr dsg in Atlantic blue no options as couldn't really stretch budget anymore.
Should get in about 3or4 weeks.
Waiting begins
Collected and being driven....... Gti PP 5dr DSG Tornado red, tints and Brescia's.

I've got a Seat Leon FR 184 tdi in white.(will advertise sale soon)
It's a good car just fancy petrol again as don't do a lot of miles.

Ah very good.

I do like the SEAT Leon, and it's not so far removed from a Golf.

Would be good to know your thoughts how the two compare when you've had chance to get used to the GTI.
