ive put gti backboxes on 3 8v golfs so far(2 1600`s and a 1300) on the 1300 we put the whole system onand it all fit perfect, on the 1600`s just the backbox, but we had to saw the old box off cause it they didnt have that extra box behind the backbos, but the pipes all fit nicely,only problem ive had was putting my Scorpion DTM on, as it didnt have rear hangers and it just had a small pipe coming out the back that was slightly too big so we had to saw old box off leaving as much pipe on as we could then make extra slices along the new pipe and clamp the fecker as tight  as we could, took ages to get it right, exhausts piss me off
